I’ve met Martin several times now at a friend’s dinner but till now, I never asked him for a portrait. That said, as Martin is a nice guy, for sure he would not refuse me so after the first course I collected my courage and asked him. It’s so funny, that still, after so many years, so many portraits, it still so hard to ask. Nevertheless, I’m happy I did as the portrait of Martin turned out very cool.

Taken in full sunlight, but I used a reflector as a fill to balance out the contrasts. I love the reflection it creates in the sunglasses.
