one night in bangkok
Not one night, but two. Not Bangkok, but Duesseldorf. Of all places…
I had to go to Duesseldorf, three days, two nights. Giving feedback on a piece of software; part of the ‘finance’ me, nothing to do with the ‘artistic’ me. That said, a trip always gives an opportunity to meet new people, to create new intense portraits.
The weather was bad so I stayed mainly inside: either in the software company, either in the hotel, which was a bore. However, while being inside, I remembered Patrick la Roque, a great photographer who is able to create art out of the ordinary, out of nothing.
I tried to follow his path, photographed nothing, in my hotel room…
