Photographers know that the most patient model is the photographer himself. Many of us experiment in front of the camera all kind of lightning setups, technical settings and so on and so on. Probably, the selfie is born out of this: photographers experimenting on them selves and sharing this with the community.

To be clear, I do not like my own selfies, but I do like to experiment on myself with lightning setups. Self, 5 seconds exposure with window light.

ps: I do have ears, just on this image they somehow disappeared …

Take my word for it: one should photograph his/her beloved ones as much as possible. Be it with a phone, a small camera or a real portrait. One day you will cherish the images you took.

Meet my parents, I shoot photograph them more-often :)

Meet Vanja and Lovorka, they are brave. They dare to sit in front of my camera after running the half marathon of Osijek. Both images took six seconds for the light to touch my sensor.

Aunt Ljerka, or as I use to call her, the best aunt. A nickname she’s very proud of. With such a nickname, you can not refuse my request to take a photo :)

After my portrait of Denis I knew how to achieve what I wanted. Only thing needed now are models to practice on. During a store festival in Pula I found three of them: Mirela, Danijel and Gabrijela.

Probably the best performing shoes in the world: ballet shoes…

It is always nice if your subject shares some interest with you, it makes things easier. Sometimes a lot easier

Denis likes photography and therefore it was easier for me to convince him to sit for me and be still. For six seconds.
